BUFFALO RIFLE AND REVOLVER CLUB PROUDLY PRESNETS OUR 2009 SPRING (IN HOUSE) PRACTICAL POLICE COMBAT LEAGUE SCHEDULE
PPC Matches
Our winter 2009-2010 PPC league is over. We had a increase in the number of people shooting and enjoying this sport. Our participants ages ran from 18 to into the 70's both men and women. We still have lots of room available for more participation and could use about 12 more people to have a full night. What is PPC you ask? PPC is a shooting discipline that uses silhouette targets , where the participant is drawing from a holster and shooting from sitting, prone, left handed and right handed positions as well as reloading under time limits. The idea behind this is to give the participant practical experience in basic defensive pistol craft with an emphasis on accuracy, some speed and the use of cover or concealment. We will start another season on Monday nights on May 3rd, 10th and 24th, June 7th, 14th and 28th, July 5th, 12th and 26th and August 2nd, 9th and 23rd. Starting time is 7pm. If you want to try it out ahead of these dates give me a call, we'll get together and show you how it's done. I want to thank Ed Jordan for his generous donation of targets that we will be using for the upcoming season. Dave 675-5860
